Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Chardé of Crafty Chardé is one of a very small percentage of Black Female Woodworkers. However, as proud as she is to wear that title, it is not the only one that defines her. She is also a proud mother, an artist, and a writer. Her brand is based on her creativity and incorporates her passion for astrology and ethnic art using pyrography and other forms of artistic expression.
Chardé makes custom, handcrafted art, functional. Many items are up-cycled or repurposed; using reclaimed wood and other vintage goods. All things, from the photos on your wall to the table you eat on, can and should be a work of art. From trash to treasure, Chardé brings life and beauty to neglected items and turns them into one of a kind statement pieces.
